Well, now I'm convinced that there really is a social-purchasing community for every interest.
Craftsy is devoted to crafters of all types. It's actually more than just a deal-a-day site, though it's definitely posted some good deals on crafting supplies: organic yarn, lovely fabrics and fat quarters from top designers, high quality needles, etc. Craftsy has also got online courses from skilled instructors for beginning, intermediate and advanced quilters, knitters, crocheters, sewists, jewelry makers, and other crafters. There are tons of free resources and a real community feel to Craftsy.
Whether you've got a box of unfinished needlework projects in the back of your closet (like I do, <sigh>), or have your own Etsy shop, or are on a first-name basis with the store clerks at Michael's and Joann, or are simply the creative type, you can join Craftsy here.
