My friend Laura is very into beading and Pandora bracelets. A while back she asked for my help finding decently priced stylized glass beads online. When I trolled around the craft store and jewelry websites and saw some of the prices ($50 for a single, nothing special, glass bead) I almost fainted. I've discovered that one of the best places to get quality beads is Amazon.
Amazon has got 100 Swarovski crystal rondelle spacer gold-plated 8mm multicolor beads (pictured above) for $6.80 + $2.54 shipping = $9.34.
Amazon also has a 15" freshwater pearl strand for $6.24 + $2.48 shipping = $9.72. (These freshwater pearls make for beautiful bracelets.)
They've also got these 50 Lampwork Murano Glass European mix beads (compatible with Pandora, Chamilia, Troll, and Biagi jewelry) for $5.55 + $1.88 shipping = $7.43. I actually bought these (Laura got me into beading) and though it doesn't say so in the description, they are stamped "925," which means that they are also sterling silver! And they are even more beautiful than they appear in the picture.
