13% off Macy's gift cards, 10% off Sears gift cards, 8% off Home Depot gift cards, 6% off Southwest Airlines gift cards and more. Save money without clipping a single coupon.

Have you discovered Raise yet?  Buying gift cards through Raise.com is one of the most oft-used tools in my frugal arsenal.  First of all, even without any promo codes at all, all of their gift cards are discounted.  That means that when I pay with a gift card from Raise.com, I'm automatically saving money, even if I never clip another coupon or use another promo code.  For stores that I frequent, like Walmart, Walgreen's, Home Depot, Southwest Airlines, Victoria's Secret, Whole Foods, Bed Bath & Beyond, etc., using gift cards that are already discounted is a no-brainer.

Right now you can get these discounts off these gift cards at Raise:
  • JCPenney, up to 20% off
  • Macy's, up to 13% off
  • Regal Cinemas, up to 12% off
  • Sears, up to 10% off
  • Victoria's Secret, up to 10% off
  • Bed Bath & Beyond, up to 8.5% off
  • Home Depot, up to 8.2% off
  • Lowe's, up to 7.2% off
  • Southwest Airlines, up to 6.2% off
AND, when Raise stacks the deck by offering a promo code discount on top of their already discounted cards, you can increase that discount even more.  New customers at Raise.com can get an additional $5 off $75 when you enter promo code RAISE75AF at checkout.

Paying for stuff with discounted gift cards just makes tons of frugal sense and is my favorite item on a list of no-brainer, low-effort ways to save money.

(And don't forget that if' you've got gift cards from stores that you never frequent, you can also sell them through Raise.  You'll lose a little money on the transaction, but better to have the cash in your pocket than to be dragging around a gift card that you'll never use.  We unloaded a few gift cards at non-kosher establishments that we had received through work this way, and are going to use the cash to treat ourselves to a fabulously expensive kosher dinner the next time we're in New York.)
