Grapeseed oil is one of the best, healthiest oils that you can use for frying and sauteing because of its high smoke point. For lack of a better source, I've been buying my grapeseed oil at Costco, until I came across this oil at Amazon. I've been buying La Tourangelle Artisan Roasted Walnut Oil since forever, and I had no idea that they also carried an artisan expeller pressed grapeseed oil. (Kosher-keeping Daily Cheapskate readers will be pleased to hear that it's under the hashgacha of the Star-K.)
It's selling for a great price, but I was even more please to see that it was a Subscribe & Save item. That means that I can get it for a great fantastic price.
- $4.62 per 16.9 fl. oz. can with the Subscribe & Save 20% discount (if you're an Amazon Mom member and you take delivery of 5 subscriptions in one month. You don't need to be an actual mother to be an Amazon Mom member.)
- $4.91 per 16.9 fl. oz. can with the Subscribe & Save 15% discount (if you can take delivery of 5 or more active subscriptions in one month) .
- $5.49 per 16.9 fl. oz. can with the standard Subscribe & Save 5% discount.
If you are struggling to reach that five-delivery goal so that you can increase your discount, don't sweat it, as I continuously post Subscribe & Save deals under $5.00 (usually more like under $3.00) that will help you reach that goal.
If you're unfamiliar with Subscribe & Save deals, or would just like a few tips on how best to use the Subscribe & Save program, read my shpiel on Subscribe & Save strategies here.
Remember that you don't need to be a member of Amazon Prime to get free shipping on ANY Amazon Subscribe & Save deal...shipping is free for anyone.
