I ordered two of these Gorham Slender Decanters from Lenox.com when they last ran a sale, and they arrived yesterday. All I can say is: Wow!
I absolutely love the lines of this beautiful crystal decanter. The plan was to give one as a hostess gift and keep one for myself, but honestly. when they arrived, they were even more elegant in person and I'm keeping both (I can't wait to see what they'll look like with sparking pomegranate juice in them), and ordering more as gifts. I also love that they have such a small footprint on my rather small dining room table (they are pretty tall, so they still hold 49 oz.).
As luck would have it, the price on these Gorham Slender decanters has dropped from $24.95 to $18.95 (and this is one of only two decanters that is priced at less than $39 on Lenox.com). Sadly, the $5.95 shipping raises this price back up to $24.90, but I think it's still a major steal even with shipping.
