Muir Glen Organic is more or less the only brand of tomato products that I use in my cooking. I add their Fire-Roasted Diced Tomatoes to every beef-based soup I make, and they are also delicious on top of Italian chicken. And yes, they really do taste different from regular diced tomatoes.
(FYI, almost all Muir Glen Organic canned tomato products are OU-kosher certified. Some of their jarred sauces are not certified, so always check for a hechsher.)
Amazon recently had a major price drop on a 12-count pack of 14.5 oz cans of Muir Glen Organic Diced Fire-Roasted Tomatoes, from $23.03, to $16.56, stacked with a Subscribe & Save deal that drops them as low as $1.10 per 14.5 oz. can with free shipping:
