Barilla Veggie Rotini for as low as $1.00 per box shipped or Barilla Tri-Color Penne, as low as 87 cents per box shipped, on Amazon

Amazon has got a really nice deal on either Barilla Veggie Rotini or the Barilla Tri-Color Penne.  These are both excellent varieties of pasta because they both contain vegetables in the pasta itself, so if your kid is a pasta junkie, s/he is also going to get some vegetable goodness in either of these types of pasta.

The great price on this pasta stems from stacking a 20% online coupon with a 15% Subscribe & Save discount, for a total of a 35% discount off the original price.  Now, you can only use that 20% coupon once, so you need to choose one variety to purchase. Also, it's not completely clear whether this is a new 20% coupon or just an extension of a pre-existing coupon, so if you have used this 20% coupon in past deals on Barilla, you might or might not be able to "clip" it or even see it in your account.

Let's start with the 8-pack of 12 oz. boxes of Barilla Veggie Rotini, which has a full serving of vegetable (zucchini and spinach, yay) in every 3.5 oz. portion of pasta.   I also like the fact that you need to buy only 8 boxes to get this deal.  When you "clip" the 20% coupon, you'll get 20% off the pre-discount price of $12.27 or a flat discount of $2.45, no matter how much you end of spending on the pasta. The Subscribe & Save pricing works as follows:
Or, if you prefer, you can instead apply that 20% coupon to the 16-pack of 12 oz. boxes of Barilla Tri-Color Penne, which contains spinach and tomato, and is a favorite ingredient of many pasta salads because the three colors are so pretty.  When you "clip" the 20% coupon,  you'll get 20% off the pre-discount price of $21.31 or a flat discount of $4.26, no matter how much you end of spending on the pasta. The Subscribe & Save pricing works as follows:
