I finally bought these and I didn't actually believe that these mats would work the way these said they would, but I grilled chicken and yellow zuchinni slabs on these and I was so pleasantly surprised with the result!   First of all, the food actually does get those nice grill marks through the mat, and they cook really well.  When I was done grilling, because I'm lazy, I threw the mat in the dishwasher and it came out perfectly clean.  I didn't even have to touch the barbecue as it never got dirty!  And none of the food fell through the grill slats.

These are awesome.  We are going to take these on vacation with us (we're bringing a small propane camping grill) so that we don't have to deal with cleaning off the grill on the road.  Even thought the grill mats are dishwasher safe, you can also just sponge them off in the sink and they clean up very easily.
