Amazon Gold Box Deal (2/9/16): 50-70% off Betsey Johnson items, including this gorgeous lace midi dress for $49.99

Amazon's Gold Box Deal of the Day today is 50%-70% off on Betsey Johnson items.  Betsey Johnson is definitely one of my favorite designers; her stuff is usually a little bit wild and not for the timid of style, but in this selection, Amazon has chosen some of her more quiet and elegant designs.

The best deal from the bunch is this Betsey Johnson Fit and Flare Lace Midi Dress priced down to $49.99 with free  Prime/SuperSaver shipping and free returns.  It is so impossible difficult to buy stylish dresses that cover the knee and are priced well, that I almost flipped when I saw this one, which can instantly be made modest with the addition of a shell.  It comes in sizes 2-14 and in blue and hunter green. It's about 44" from shoulder to hem, and if it doesn't fit, Amazon will pick up the return shipping.  FYI, this dress has been featured at Saks and several other very fine department stores that I wish I could afford.
