A few years ago, I made permanent Pesach covers for our kitchen counters. I cut out heavy-duty cardboard to the exact shape of our counters and covered then with wipe-able vinyl. Each year before Pesach, instead of laboriously covering all of our counters anew, I just whip out the vinyl covers and push them into place.
Last year, I noticed that the vinyl had seen better days. There were lots of nicks, knife cuts, and just general wear and tear on the vinyl. Tomorrow I'm headed over to Joann's to get some new vinyl to re-cover them, 25% off coupon in hand.
I'm laughing hysterically. We have vinyl covers, too, that I cut into the exact shape for our counters, and the other day, I remembered that I had to throw away one of the sections last year, and I was hoping for a coupon so I could buy more vinyl!
