Nambé pitcher and stirrer for $38.90 shipped from Nordstrom (or $140 everywhere else)

My greatest satisfaction as a frugal blogger doesn't come from posting about things that are cheap.  It comes from finding wonderfully costly items that I normally wouldn't be able to even consider, and then getting them for a steal.  

Nambé is just not a brand that I can typically afford.  I love the elegant lines on this Nambé Serenity lead crystal  pitcher with a stirrer by Nambé, here on Amazon, but no, I'm not spending $139.95 on a pitcher, no matter how much I love it. Uh-uh.

But I love this pitcher.

Macy's also has it for $140.00.    Bed Bath & Beyond has got it for $139.99, and even with one of their 20% off coupons, I'm still not spending $112.00 on a pitcher. 

Fortunately for me, Nordstrom has the same Nambé pitcher and stirrer on sale for $38.90 with free shipping and free returns.  I love doing the math on stuff like this, and that's 28% of the Amazon price (or 72% off).  I can't spend $140.00 on a pitcher that I love, but $38.90 is totally manageable, and considering all the hostess gifts that we're going to need in the coming months with all the holiday meals, I bought two.
