$10 off $30 at Petsmart

Here are two in-store coupons for Petsmart, one for $10 off a $30 purchase and one for $15 off a $60 purchase.  Here's where couponing math comes in.  While $15 off $60 might sound better to you, keep in mind that this is a 25% off coupon, while the $10 off $30 is a 33% off coupon.  Another thing to keep in mind is that these are all on minimum purchases, and consumers tend to buy more than that, lowering the percentage of savings. So say you are buying $60 worth of dog food, it makes more sense to break up your purchase into two $30 purchases and to use the $10 coupon for each purchase.
