We just got a second dog! Our new lab mix is in a "trial period" at our house, but I think my husband is already half in love with him, so he'll probably be a keeper. Since our other dog, a 20-lb. beagle, is not much of an eater, we never really worried about pet food storage. Now with the new dog, we've got to figure out a way to store larger quantities of dog food in a safe, airtight and critter-free container in the garage.
Walmart has got some great options. Check these out:
Get this Suncast 72 quart food storage bin for $12.99 for $12.99 with free ship-to-store or $1.97 shipping. This was the one we chose, since it was the largest and cheapest.
If you don't have that much space and want a smaller option, how about this 10 lb. food storage bin (not sure how to convert that to quarts) for just $9 with free site-to-store or $0.97 shipping.
But my favorite find was this super-cheap pet food scoop for just $0.97! It was also a free ship-to-store or $0.97 shipping item. We ordered two, since these can also be useful for, er, um, scooping other pet-related substances (just don't get them mixed up!).
