Maylong "For Dummies" FD-220 GPS for $29.97

I have never seen a GPS (at least not a new one) priced this low.  Ever.  Sign of the times.

Walmart has got this Maylong "For Dummies" FD-220 GPS Navigation System for just $29.97.  Shipping is $1.97 or you can opt for free ship-to-store.  (Find a local Walmart here.)

This is an incredible deal for a car GPS. If' you've been hesitating to buy a GPS because of price, or have been wanting to get a second GPS for your son/daughter going off to college, grab this one before Walmart runs out of stock.  I'm picking up one right now and putting them on my Chanukah gift shelf.

This GPS uses turn-by-turn visual guidance, voice directions, and also contains an MP3 player. The digital maps have browsing capability, with 2-D and 3-D map perspective options. The familiar, easy-to-use "For Dummies" style, complete with icons, leads you through the GPS navigation software user interface.

I posted about this same GPS selling on Amazon back here.  If you buy this item on Amazon today, it's currently $37.84 + $6.44 shipping = $44.28.

    Features:
  • 3.5" touchscreen, LCD.
  • Presents information clearly and brightly for optimal navigation.
  • Turn-by-turn navigation.
  • Speaks street names.
  • Quick route recalculation.
  • Get back on track easily.
  • Millions of Points of Interest (POIs).
  • Save and find places that you want to go.
  • For Dummies GPS Nav software.
  • Easy-to-use user interface for simple GPS navigation.
  • Includes digital music and video player and digital picture viewer.
  • Get started right out of the box.

(Just fyi, I paid a whopping $500 for my TomTom back in 2007.  Yikes.  It's since been replaced by my iPhone's GPS. Gotta love technology.)
