The Automobile Association of America (AAA) has got a nifty Fuel Cost Calculator that takes into account current pricing trends on gasoline over all US regions, as well as mileage averages for various makes and models of popular vehicles.

I ran a trip between Denver and Omaha on the Fuel Cost Calculator and was surprised at how close it came to my recent actuals.  This little online device could come in very handy when budgeting for your summer vacation.
