14kt gold bangle on clearance from Ross-Simons for $57 shipped

Ross-Simons, one of my favorite jewelers, has got this 14kt yellow gold Italian Flex Rolling Bangle on clearance for $48.75 + $7.95 shipping = $56.70, while supplies last.  This stunning Italian bracelet has got a silicone core with 14kt. gold wire wrapped around it.  (This is not gold-plate; it's 14kt gold.)  I'm not quite sure how Ross-Simons is selling at this price, given how high the price of gold is, but ok, I guess that's why they call it "clearance."
