While this item already has high ratings (3.8 out of 5 stars over 420 customer reviews), let me add my own personal recommendation for Sonicare. Over the last two years, I was having some gum issues and needed to go to the dentist every 3 months for a cleaning (in addition to a root planing and scaling, a delightful dental procedure). Even though I was flossing and brushing regularly, I was still getting mediocre dental reports and showing slow improvement. Once I got my Sonicare, my dental health improved dramatically, and I'm now back on the normal 6-month cleaning schedule. I cannot rave enough about this awesome toothbrush brand.
