As predicted, rock salt and other de-icers and snow melters are all up in price right now (oh, those darn laws of supply and demand). And I took a little pirouette on the ice the other day and hurt my back slightly, so I was in no condition to shlep home a 20-lb. bag of salt anyway.

It turned our sheer ice parking area into a navigable, safe surface. I have not noticed it sticking to my shoes at all.
