Melissa & Doug: The Passover Box of Questions, $9.99
This was a top seller toy in the past few years. Melissa & Doug have got an interesting Pesach game out for kids: The Passover Box of Questions; Cards to Create Great Conversations. We don't have kids, but all of our friends do, and we are always on the lookout for fun games and toys to keep in the house for when we entertain. The price is certainly right on this one, just $9.99 with free Prime/SuperSaver shipping
What I like about this game is how the questions seem so open-ended. Different personality types/ages of kids could take these questions in very different directions.
According to the reviews posted, there are several questions here that are more geared for non-Shomer Shabbos or more secular families (like "Do you refrain from eating bread on Passover?"), so more observant families might want to glean these out first. Most of the questions just seem to be thought-provoking. I think that when it comes to Pesach, kids are so focused on task-specific learning, like memorizing the ten plagues and the Mah Nishtana. These questions seem to be geared at opening up the floor a little, which is a good thing. :)
Because this is a Melissa & Doug toy, the quality is high. The questions are printed on heavy-duty card stock, and each one is designed to look like a little mini-matzoh. Cute!
