I have two of these crocks on my countertop...one holds my baking utensils and one holds my cooking utensils. By putting my kitchen utensils in crocks, I freed up two drawers worth of space in my tiny kitchen, and the crocks keep them organized, handy, and clean for when I need them. Standing them up in a crock is a great way to go in terms of saving space, because these crocks have small counter top footprints, and keep everything visible so that you don't have to go hunting for the utensil that you need in a messy drawer.
