Prime Pantry is a program that Amazon added to its Prime membership about a year-and-a-half or so ago.   In a nutshell, Amazon Prime members get to add up to 45 lbs. worth of household, food, personal and beauty items to a Prime Pantry box, and it gets delivered to your house for $5.99.  The advantage of the Prime Pantry program over, say, Amazon's Subscribe & Save is that 1) you don't need to buy in bulk quantities, and 2) some of the items are very well-priced.  But that $5.99 shipping fee.... No.  Just no.

So Amazon is running this monthly promotion:  buy 5 Prime Pantry items from this selection, enter promo code PANTRYFEB at checkout and the Prime Pantry $5.99 shipping fee is waived.  Ok, yes.

So I scavenged through this selection and came up with my five shipping-fee-killer items:

My absolute favorite Prime Pantry buy is on this Tide Plus Bleach, HE Turbo Clean Liquid Laundry Detergent, 46 fl oz., 24 loads (pack of 2) for $6.53 or $3.27 per 46 oz. bottle of Tide.  This is an AWESOME price on Tide detergent. This is the deal that makes the Prime Pantry box completely worthwhile for me.
