BACK AGAIN: Nordic Ware Microwave Popcorn Popper for $7.99 on Amazon

Amazon has this Nordic Ware Microwave Popcorn Popper down to $7.99 (Add-On item).  It comes in either red or white.

So a little history first.  This over here, used to be my favorite frugal way to make popcorn and this is the way I was doing it for years.  I was just putting it in a brown paper bag and popping it in the microwave.   But that brown-paper-bag-thing was starting to get a little old.  We would run out of bags, or the bag would open or tear, and we'd have a bit of a mess on our hands.  So back at the end of 2014, we bought one of these Nordic Ware poppers.

The Nordic Ware Microwaver Popcorn Popper is basically a gemstone 12-cup bowl with a plastic lid that is completely microwave safe, no BPAs, and it won't melt or warp, etc.  It's dishwasher-safe as well (a requirement in my kitchen).   It's just a neater way of making the popcorn, and you can eat it right out of the same bowl.  And for $7.99, it's a great buy.  This microwave popper got 4.5 out of 5 stars over 3,514 customer reviews.
