This week's BEST Amazon and Jet deals in tissues, toilet paper and paper towels (The Golden Trifecta of Household Needs, week of 1/21/18)

The three most requested items on my "Can you find a deal on....?" list are the ones we use and need all the time, tissues, toilet paper, and paper towels, AKA The Golden Trifecta of Household Needs, and the two go-to places for deals on these items seem to be Amazon and Jet.com.  This week's deals all come from the Amazon Subscribe & Save program.

My savings criteria:

• 50 cents or less per roll of toilet paper
• 90 cents or less per roll of paper towels
• $1.00 or less per box of tissues.  (I've raised this criteria from 95 cents, because I think that's unrealistic now.  I haven't seen a deal on a medium-sized box of tissues for 95 cents for a while.)

Of course, these are not hard and fast rules.  Deals are going to vary by size of individual item (i.e. 500 sheet roll vs 125 sheet roll), brand loyalty (i.e. I find Viva is the best brand of paper towel and I'm willing to pay slightly more per sheet) and quality within brand (extra-soft, recycled, clean-ripple, extra-strong, suffused with lotion, etc.).  I'll do my best to balance price with quality in Golden Trifecta deals. 

 Here are this top-of-the-week's deals:

TOILET PAPER:

This 36-count Scott Extra Soft Large Rolls bathroom tissue is priced as low as $14.64 (41 cents per large roll) when you stack an online $1.50 coupon with Subscribe & Save discounts.

First "clip" the $1.50 coupon.  Then the pricing works out as follows:

• $16.14 - $1.50 coupon = $14.64 ($0.41 per roll) with the 15% Subscribe & Save discount (if you can take delivery of 5 or more active subscriptions in one month) 

• $18.04 - $1.50 coupon = $16.54 ($0.46 per roll) with the 5% Subscribe & Save discount

PAPER TOWELS:

Amazon has got this 24-count pack of Scott Paper Towels Choose-A-Sheet Mega Rolls for as low as $17.87 or 74 cents per mega roll  with Subscribe & Save discounts stacked with a $1.50 coupon.

First "clip" the $1.50 coupon.  Then the pricing works out as follows:

• $20.39 - $1.50 coupon = $18.89 (79 cents per mega roll) with the 15% Subscribe & Save discount (if you can take delivery of 5 or more active subscriptions in one month) 

• $22.79 - $1.50 coupon = $21.29 (89 cents per mega roll)  with the 5% Subscribe & Save discount

FACIAL TISSUES:

Amazon has got this 36-count pack of Kleenex tissues (100 tissues in each box) for as low as $32.09 or 89 cents per box shipped with Subscribe & Save discounts.

• $32.09 (89 cents per box of 100) with the 15% Subscribe & Save discount (if you can take delivery of 5 or more active subscriptions in one month)
