KidKraft Jewish Holiday Puzzle Set for $19.99 in-store

I've received tons of emails requesting a deal on this super-popular item:

This KidKraft Holiday Puzzle set, which Amazon has for $34.64.  The set of 4 puzzles includes one each: Chanukah Puzzle, Shabbat Puzzle, Passover Puzzle, and Rosh Hashanah

But since Chanukah is mostly over at this point, I'm guessing (though I hope I'm wrong) that this item is not going to drop in price on any mainstream websites before the end.  And I want your kids to have this puzzle set soon.  So here's how to get it in-store.

This first deal was given to me by my friend Shoshana Z.:

Bed Bath & Beyond has the KidKraft Holiday puzzle set for $24.99 and with a 20% off coupon, that price drops to $19.99.  The catch to ordering it online is 1) you'll need to have an online 20% off coupon and 2) if you can't pick it up in-store there is a $5.99 shipping charge that kills the deal.

But what you can do is go into a BB&B and show them the online price on your smartphone (or print it out) and if they don't have it in-store, they will order it for you, let you apply the coupon and usually waive the shipping, enabling you to get it for $19.99.

A second option is this:
Barnes & Noble has the KidKraft Holiday Puzzle Set for $21.95.  Once again, the shipping kills the deal. But I'm sure that if you show them the page on yout smartphone, they will honor the price in-store and if they don't have it, they will order it for you.  Now, if you have a B&N membership, you can order this with free shipping, and I believe you also can get an additional 10% off in-store.  (BTW, if you're interested in a B&N membership, they have a free 2-month trial for new members over here.)

Sponsored Post: Barnes & Noble Discovery Weekend and great gift ideas!

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Barnes & Noble.  I've been compensated by Barnes & Noble to write about their Discovery Weekend. All the opinions expressed here, both positive and negative, are my own.
This weekend, from 11/21/14 through 11/23/14, is Barnes & Noble's Discovery Weekend.   B& N will be running special events all weekend, with featured projects and bookseller recommendations for everyone on your list. The Discovery Weekend will be going on nationwide, so check with your local location to see what events will be running at your B&N.

Having shopped online so much, I forgot what a pleasure it is to browse through a Barnes & Noble bookstore.  There is so much going on and so much to look it.  I went to a local B&N last night and spent an hour browsing around and shopping.  My bibliophile husband, Joshua, came with me, because he loves browsing around Barnes & Noble as much as I do.

I love games.  No not the kind that you play on a video screen (though I like those too), the kind that you play with other human beings at a kitchen table.  Barnes & Noble gave me plenty of food for thought on great Chanukah gift ideas in Family, Logic, Party and Strategy Games.  Their selection is mind boggling.

I was struck by how much I'd been missing by shopping online for so long.  Being in the bookstore reminded me how much I love books. Having such a huge selection laid out in front of me like that was like being a kid in a candy store!  I picked up a new kosher cookbook and a the new Stephen King best seller.

I loved browsing through the Bargain Books, and Joshua found a political oldie-but-goodie in that section.

Would you believe that B&N actually stocks vinyl records?  Vinyl!

If you've got kids, take them to Barnes & Noble, especially for this Discovery Weekend.  If you think B&N has only books, you need to get back in the bookstore.  The amount of toys and games for kids is staggering.

Got a LEGO fan?   I was utterly blown away by the sheer amount of LEGO sets available.

Barnes & Noble is one of the kid-friendliest bookstores around.

There was also a nice Chanukah book section for kids.

Speaking of kids, on Sunday of Discovery Weekend (11/23/14) at 1:00 p.m., there's going to be a Snowmen at Night Storytime with Crafts & Activities, and you'll be able to buy a copy of the New York Times Children's Bestseller, Snowmen at Night for $7.99 with the purchase of any other children's book.  Make sure to bring your kids to this fun event.

For more information on Barnes & Noble Discovery Weekend, please visit BN.com/DiscoveryWeekend, where you can find a complete schedule of events, activities and promotions at your local Barnes & Noble store.  Great way to start off Black Friday week!

Buy a $25 eGift-Card for CVS, Whole Foods, Lands End and others; get FREE $5.00 in Groupon Bucks

Here's a fantastic new deal from Groupon: purchase a $25.00 egift-card for any of the vendors listed below for $25.00, and get an additional $5.00 in Groupon bucks.  Groupon bucks are basically credit toward any future Groupon deal that are automatically deposited in your Groupon account.

So if you are planning, for example, to shop at Whole Foods anyway, buy a $25 Whole Food gift card through Groupon and get a $5.00 credit that can be use on any future Groupon purchase that you make within the next two weeks (except for other gift cards).  It's pretty much a risk-free no-brainer.  Chances are, with Black Friday Groupon specials coming up, that you will make very good use of those Groupon bucks, but even if you don't, you lose out on nothing...you still have the full value of the gift card.  You have nothing to lose and $5.00 to gain.

Limit 1 per person. eGift-cards never expire. Final sale, no returns. Please allow 3-5 business days for the Groupon bucks to appear in your Groupon account. Groupon bucks will expire 14 days from issuance. Not valid with Groupon promo codes. Groupon Bucks cannot be used to purchase Gift Cards.
