FREE Venus razor on Amazon

Amazon has got this Gillette Venus Bikini Trimmer razor for $2.99, but "clip" the $3.00 coupon on the page and the razor is free!  The catch is that it's an Amazon Add-On item, which means it ships for free with a $25 purchase for Prime members, or with a $35 purchase if you're not a Prime member. Amazon has got the hardcover edition of the best-selling, highly-rated The Dangerous Book for Boys by Conn and Hall Iggulden for the lowest price ever posted on Amazon, $7.34 with free Prime/SuperSaver shipping.

This awesome book received 4.7 out of 5 stars over 935 customer reviews.

(Frankly, I think many sections this book would probably work just as well for girls too, if they love traditionally "boy" activities and topics, such as building tree-houses, tying knots, fishing, sports etc.  But it's a must have for boys.)

Here's the description on Amazon:

The bestselling book for every boy from eight to eighty, covering essential boyhood skills such as building tree houses*, learning how to fish, finding true north, and even answering the age old question of what the big deal with girls is. In this digital age there is still a place for knots, skimming stones and stories of incredible courage. This book recaptures Sunday afternoons, stimulates curiosity, and makes for great father-son activities. The brothers Conn and Hal have put together a wonderful collection of all things that make being young or young at heart fun—building go-carts and electromagnets, identifying insects and spiders, and flying the world's best paper airplanes.

The completely revised American Edition includes:

• The Greatest Paper Airplane in the World
• The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World
• The Five Knots Every Boy Should Know
• Stickball
• Slingshots
• Fossils
• Building a Treehouse
• Making a Bow and Arrow
• Fishing (revised with US Fish)
• Timers and Tripwires
• Baseball's "Most Valuable Players"

20% off bananas through SavingStar

SavingStar released a brand new produce coupon today: Save 20% on any single purchase of loose bananas at participating retailers. One time use only.  Expires 7/7/14.

New to Saving Star? It's super-easy to use. Join here and check to see which of your local stores qualifies as a SavingStar vendor.  Almost any store with a loyalty or membership card (like any Kroger affiliates, Albertson's, Pathmark, Rite Aid, Waldbaum, Stop 'N Shop, ShopRite, CVS, etc.) qualifies.  Here in Denver, I use King Soopers as my primary SavingStar store.  When I'm in New York, it's Shop Rite.

And last week, SavingStar announced some BIG news.  Starting in mid-July, you'll be able to redeem SavingStar coupons in new major store chains:  Walmart, Target, Kmart, Meijer, Walgreens Dollar General, Family Dollar and WinCo!  That will make it easier than ever to use SavingStar's valuable produce and free-item ecoupons.

Each Tuesday, SavingStar features an ecoupon on a produce item and each Friday, SavingStar features an ecoupon for a free item (many of which are kosher), meaning that when you activate the coupon and purchase the item at one of their vendors and swipe your loyalty card at purchase, they will give you back 100% of the value of the item. And especially now, when they are planning on including SO many new stores as SavingStar eligible, it really pays to join SavingStar!

Here's how to cash in on SavingStar ecoupons.  Register your shopper's loyalty card in your Saving Star account and activate any of the ecoupons you want.  Then shop for the items listed on the ecoupons and make sure you swipe your shoppers loyalty card at checkout.  (And yes, you can use regular paper coupons on top of SavingStar ecoupons.) Once you've purchased an item, the amount of the coupon will be deposited in your SavingStar account and you can withdraw it (once it reaches $5) as cash or a gift card.

10% off at 6PM and more raving about my Gianna Crocs

Get 10% off at 6PM today, when you enter promo code 6PMEU7120141011 at checkout.  And of course, shipping is always free at 6PM.

If you missed my rave about my Gianna Crocs back here, let me just say that these are the most comfortable, non-Crocsmanlike Crocs I've ever owned.  My other Crocs are just as comfortable, but could never pass for dress flats; my Giannas are both comfortable and stylish, and that is a rare combination in reasonably priced shoes.

As some of you may know, I've been spending the last two months in NY with my Mom, since she's been recuperating from an accident.  Here's what my current Giannas look like:

Why yes, that IS a gigantic hole that I've worn through the bottom of my shoes!  I have been standing on my feet a LOT for the last two months (and doing a crazy amount of walking) and my Gianna Crocs are insanely comfortable, but it's time to buy yet another pair.  Long overdue, actually.

6PM has these Crocs Giannas for $24.50 - 10% = $22.05 with free shipping!  You better believe I'm buying a new pair.  Actually, at this price, I'm buying two. That's how much I believe in this shoe.

(FYI, Amazon has them for $26-$40; Crocs has them for $34.99 in limited sizes.)

I'm also trying these Crocs Cap Toe Flats in Espresso, because you can't beat the price:  $20.00 - $10% = $18.00.

I love to be able to share frugal discoveries with readers, and to personally recommend something I believe in.  I adore my Gianna Crocs and I'm surprised I don't see them on more people's feet, but I'm just going to let this be our little Daily Cheapskate secret. If you're looking for a pair of comfortable, practical, good-looking flats for an excellent price, welcome to this excellent deal.
