Free So Delicious Coconut Milk at Whole Foods

I made my monthly trip into Whole Foods on Friday and much to my delight, was able to score four free So Delicious Coconut Milks!  If you haven't tried this coconut milk, you're in for a happy surprise; it is one of the best-tasting, creamiest non-dairy milks there is.  For those of you who are trying to wean their families off of fatty cow's milk, this is a great, healthy alternative.  My husband has it with his morning cereal.  And for those of you who keep kosher, it is kosher/pareve (think post-Shabbos-lunch coffee creamer without chemicals). Here's how to get it for free:

I stacked one Whole Foods coconut milk $1 coupon with one manufacturer's $1 coupon either from Coupons.com or from the Smart Source Sunday paper insert from 4/3/11.  To my surprise, the Denver Whole Foods had the So Delicious coconut milk on sale for $2, so I was able to get the product for free.  I asked the manager, and all of the Denver area Whole Foods will be having the $2 sale until the end of May (heads up Rocky Mountain Cheapskate readers!).  I've also seen the sale posted on other organic foods blogs in other states and areas, so check it out.

This is definitely a case of YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary), since a) not all Whole Foods allow you to stack a manufacturer's coupon with a Whole Foods coupon and b) not all Whole Foods run the same sales.  But it's worth a call to your local Whole Foods to check it out.

Another FYI to all Denver area Whole Foods shoppers:  you are allowed to stack manufacturer's coupons with Whole Foods coupons at any Denver-area Whole Foods stores.  See my post on their Facebook page for more info.

If you are as hooked on So Delicious foods as I am, you can download a $0.55 coupon for their frozen dessert (which, IMHO taste better than actual ice cream) or refrigerated items by filling out the form here.

WOW! What a deal! I don't have a Whole Foods near me, but I love So Delicious Coconut Milk so much, it's worth any price (though it's always great to find it on sale.) And yes, you're right! Their coconut milk frozen dessert is better than dairy based ice cream. Thanks so much for the coupon link!

  2. Eileen, you can still use the $1 manufacturer's coupons at your nearby market. I agree...it's worth the money! I love the coconut milk.

I can't seem to find toe manufacturers coupon even after clicking the link.

  4. Nicole, sadly, that coupon seems to have rolled off Coupons.com. Sorry. These popular coupons go very quickly. However, you can still get the $1 Whole Foods coupon and get half-price coconut milk, if your Whole Foods is running the $1.99 sale. Getting a 32 oz. coconut milk for $1 is still a steal.
