Get $10 in Bonus Bucks if you join AMC Stubs in the theater

You might recall back here, when I talked about whether or not AMC Stubs was worth the $12 annual fee, and concluded that it was not.  The rewards come much to slowly, and unless you go to the movies very often or with a ton of friends, you might find yourself barely breaking even with the $12 annual fee at the end of the year.  AMC Stubs also give you discounts on concession food, and since we almost never buy ridiculously overpriced movie concession food, it was clearly not a real benefit for us.

I might be persuaded if the membership cost only $2 instead of $12.  For a limited time, if you join AMC Stubs in theaters, they will give you $10 in Bonus Bucks, spendable at the concession stand.  If I remember what junk food costs in theaters, that will buy you two sodas and maybe a candy bar?  Not a great value, as far as I'm concerned, so I'm still not sold.  But I felt obligated to let you know, in case you were considering a membership, so that at the very least, you can buy it in the theater and look for this promotion.
