We've got a double hammock in our back yard and we absolutely love it...perfect for Shabbat afternoons or just a lazy summer evening with an iPod and a good book or magazine. When we have friends over with their children, the kids jump all over the hammock, swing in it, and just love it. (What is it with kids and hammocks?)
