Wedding (and other simcha) flowers on a budget: Costco floral packages starting at $115

Where was Costco when I was getting married?

Flowers are one wedding (or bar/bat mitzvah, or bris, or sheva brachot etc.) item that can certainly be trimmed down when you are planning an event on a budget, but to a point.  The thing about flowers is that they add so much to the decor of a joyous event and yet they seem like such a waste, as they fade in a day and they die in a week and there goes thousands of dollars in a puff of petals.

I discovered Costco floral packages purely by accident.  (What doesn't Costco sell?)  They deliver to the site a day before the event and their floral packages are very reasonably priced (starting at $115) and from the pictures, rather beautiful.  Some of the table flowers come complete with vases and some don't, so depending on what you select, you might need to have someone there to put the flowers into vases. They also have bridal party flower packages that I found to be extremely reasonable, complete with boutonnieres for the men and corsages for the Moms, and beautiful bouquets for the bridesmaids and of course, the bride.

And if you are planning a large sheva-brachot with a bunch of people, you can order lovely table flowers from Costco as well. I was amazed at the options (colors, types of flowers, adornments, etc.) available for such reasonable prices.   Click here to check out the wedding & event flower selection at Costco.
