We just got our first Dunkin' Donuts here in Denver, so I was really happy to see that Raise.com had Dunkin' Donuts gift cards for up to 20% off, so you can get a $50 Dunkin' Donut gift card for only $40. Hurry, because these highly discounted cards will get snatched up very quickly!
Not only that, but if you are new to Raise and spend $60 (over as many or whichever gift cards as you like) and use promo code RAISE60AF at checkout, you can get an additional $5 off your order. So buy two $50 DD gift cards for $40 x 2 = $80 and then subtract an additional $5 = $75 for $100 worth of DD gift cards. Awesome deal. If Dunkin' Donuts is your morning stop for coffee on the way to work, this will last you through about 2-3 months of breakfasts at only 3/4 of the cost.
Paying for stuff with discounted gift cards just makes tons of frugal sense and is my favorite item on a list of no-brainer, low-effort ways to save money.
Buying gift cards through Raise.com is one of the most oft-used tools in my frugal arsenal. First of all, even without any promo codes at all, all of their gift cards are discounted. That means that when I pay with a gift card from Raise.com, I'm automatically saving money, even if I never clip another coupon or use another promo code. For stores that I frequent, like Walmart, Walgreen's, Home Depot, Southwest Airlines, Victoria's Secret, Whole Foods, Bed Bath & Beyond, and now, Dunkin' Donuts, etc., using gift cards that are already discounted is a no-brainer.
(And don't forget that if' you've got gift cards from stores that you never frequent, you can also sell them through Raise. You'll lose a little money on the transaction, but better to have the cash in your pocket than to be dragging around a gift card that you'll never use. We unloaded a few gift cards at non-kosher establishments that we had received through work this way, and are going to use the cash to treat ourselves to a fabulously expensive kosher dinner the next time we're in New York.)
