I recently spoke to Amazon's jewelry department about Duragold 14 kt gold items. Turns out that Duragold is actually Amazon's own line of gold jewelry, which explain why they are able to sell it so inexpensively, in spite of the fact that gold prices are sky-high and 14 kt. gold jewelry is pretty expensive elsewhere.

Amazon has this Duragold 14 kt. gold dolphin pendant on a 17" 14 kt. gold chain for $69.00, with free shipping. While this pendant is small and delicate (.35" x .3"), it is still a stellar price on a very pretty piece of gold jewelry. It's rare to find a 14 kt. gold pendant for under a hundred dollars.

14 kt. Gold Chandelier Earrings for $129 with free shipping

My friend Rivvy asked me to find her a pair of 14 kt. gold chandelier earrings for under $200. "They've got to be super-dangly and solid 14 karat gold." Ok then. With the soaring price of gold nowadays, it wasn't easy.

The reviewers all mentioned that the chain on this 18" necklace was very thin and delicate, so do adjust your expectations. On the other hand, the little beads are 6mm on the outside and 7mm in the center, which are very decent sizes, especially for the $69.00 price.

If you're interested in a five-bead necklace, Duragold has this 5-bead version on an 18" chain, also in 14kt gold, for $75.00 with free shipping. I think that's a nice upgrade for just $6.00.

I don't know if you've been following the price of gold lately, but it is just off the charts. That makes finding decent pricing on good gold jewelry next to impossible.

I'm not quite sure how, but Amazon has these 14 kt gold (not plated, but actual gold) hoop earrings in both white and yellow gold for $59.00 with free shipping. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw the price. I had to doublecheck the fine print to make sure these were actually 14 kt gold. Ladies, this a very good price, and the earrings got some nice reviews (4.1 out of 5 stars over 192 customer reviews).
