High value Kiss My Face $3 coupon; score some low-cost Kiss My Face products at Whole Foods

Kiss My Face has a new high value $3 coupon out on Facebook.  If you are having trouble getting to it, you can go directly to the pdf over here. The $3 coupon excludes trial sizes and lip balms and is good through 8/30/12.

If your local Whole Foods allows you to stack manufacturer's coupons with their store coupons, you can stack this with their current $2.50 off one Kiss My Face Sun Care product (2 oz. or larger) store coupon.  This coupon expires 7/31/12.

The 2 oz. Kiss My Face paraben-free 30 SPF Face Factor product (shown above) is $7.49 at my local Denver Whole Foods (YMMV).  With the $3 coupon and the $2.50 coupon, you can get this pricey item for just $2.

I also spotted the Kiss My Face Pure Olive Oil Soap for $3.49 (again, YMMV).  You can't use the Whole Foods store coupon since it's not a sun care product, but with the $3 coupon alone, this soap will come to just $0.49.

Since these coupons are pdfs and are ok for multiple prints, you can score these and some other low-priced Kiss My Face products at Whole Foods, enough to make up a nice basket of these high-end toiletries.  I am definitely going to take home a few of these nice soaps!

DailyCheapskate Inbox time: Q&A with three readers

I love, love, love getting email from readers, especially the ones with great questions. Here are three goodies from May's inbox:

Dear Daily Cheapskate, Where is the best (meaning cheapest) place to buy a lettuce spinner?  The one I see most often is the OXO one for $30, but I can get it for $24 at Bed, Bath with my coupon. Any better ideas?  I eat a lot of salad.  I hate wet lettuce, don't you? -Amanda J., Brooklyn, NY
	Dear Amanda, Ikea.  $2.99.
Dear Daily Cheapskate, I spend a fortune on organic produce and foods at Whole Foods all the time.  My friend told me about Sprouts and said they had the same kind of organics items but for much less.  What do you think? Layla G., Dallas, TX
Dear Layla, I shop at both Sprouts and Whole Foods; they each have their value. There are at least four Sprouts/Sunflower stores in the Dallas area, and here are some tips for saving money there.  First of all, if you haven't already, join Recyclebank and get yourself a stash of $5 off $40 coupons for Sprouts and never walk into the store without one in hand. That's a savings of 12% right there. Next, sign up for Organic Girl and Earthbound Farms coupons.  These are two national organic companies that offer tons of coupons. Organic Girl comes out with a multi-print pdf $1 coupon each month and Earthbound Farms has been coming out with a new $0.75 coupon each week.  Use them!   Recyclebank  also has Odwalla and Stoneyfield Farms coupons.   Next, go to the Sprouts website and sign up for their email list. They send out a coupon for a free organic product each month, as well as subscriber-only store coupons.  Like Whole Foods, you may stack one store coupon with one manufacturer's coupon per item at Sprouts.  They also have a ton of store coupons on their website, and the occasional one on their Facebook page.   Also, make sure you check out the Mambo Sprouts coupon page for their continuous list of organic coupons that you can stack with the store coups.  Finally, read my post on saving money on organics here.  And realize this:  you might not always be able to save money on organic produce and such.  If that is the case, and buying organics is a value to you,  you need to create a margin of money in areas where you can save, and then put that money towards those $6 bags of spinach.
Dear Daily Cheapskate, I love your posts about Swagbucks and how the program is a "no-brainer" way to save money. I'm not such a couponer, but I'm so grateful to you for turning me on to Swagbucks, as I love Amazon gift cards. Got any other no-brainer ways to save money up your sleeve? Robert G., Santa Fe, NM
Dear Robert, I love Swagbucks too, believe me.  I'm always shocked to meet people who haven't signed up for  Swagbucks  yet.  I'm swimming in Amazon gift card credits thanks to Swagbucks. My current top no-brainer is definitely the pre-paid American Express card deal. For the inconvenience of moving money around, you get a free $25.  No credit check, no fees, no strings, no nuthin, just a free $25 gift card.  I don't understand why anyone wouldn't take advantage of this offer.  It takes all of 2 minutes to fill out the form. Other no-brainers?  Ok, here are three. Library cards.  Yes!  Not just for the books, but also for the free Kindle or iPad ebooks, the free movies/DVDs, free CDs., free legal mp3 downloads.  Many libraries also have free museum passes and low-fee classes, free movie screenings, etc.  Public library cards are fountains of free. Freecycle.  Freecycle is a national grass-roots group of community lists where basically you can get and give away free stuff.  The giving away is just as important as the getting, as decluttering is a major money-saver.  What have I gotten from Denver Freecycle lately?  Plants!  Lots of them. Over the last few months, I've picked up tons of aloe cuttings, spider plant cuttings, and a very cool basil plant.  My kitchen plant shelf runneth over with beautiful plants that have not cost me a red cent (sorry Home Depot). Tomorrow, a Freecycler is giving me five tomato plants that she doesn't have room for in her backyard.  What have I given Freecycle this month?  About 100 magazines, lots of tupperware that was past its prime, clothing, non-kosher freebies that came in the mail, and spare dog accessories.  I love  Freecycle . Target RedCard, .  You save 5% on every single solitary thing you buy at Target and Target.com. You get free shipping on Target.com with no minimum.  And as an added perk, the K-12 school that you name gets 1% of all your RedCard purchases.  You get special high-value Target coupons in the mail each month, including a few free-item coupons.  If your credit is less than sterling, you can get a RedCard debit card that just deducts money from your checking account, and there will be no credit check.  This is an extreme no-brainer.     Bonus round:  Three more no-brainers are cash-back programs,   ShopKick  (if you own a smartphone) and MyCokeRewards.  Ok. Your turn! Anything to add about lettuce spinners, buying organics or money-saving no-brainers?

$0.75 off any Earthbound Farm Organic product

Earthbound Farms has got another special coupon available today for $0.75 off any Earthbound Farms Organic product.  Click here and log in or sign up to get started.  After you log in or sign up, click "Take Today's Step" to print the coupon.  It will look like the coupon is only for the blueberries, but once it prints, you'll see it's for ANY Earthbound Farms Organic product.  Coupon expires a month forward, 7/6/12.

These coupons have been coming up about once a week, and I'll happily print them (twice) each time they show.  I've been using most of them on Earthbound Farms organic carrots at Target.  With this coupon and my RedCard, I can get a bag of regular organic carrot for $0.32 per bag and baby carrots for $0.90 per bag.  I've been buying both kinds.  We snack on baby carrots all the time, and I've been peeling and freezing the regular carrots for future soups.  Just another way to buy organic produce without breaking the bank.

Another mp3 credit on Amazon and how to check your digital credit balances on Amazon

Amazon has got yet another free mp3 promotion, this time for $3 off any album $5.99 or higher.  Just click here, type in the name of a favorite album (or anything, really) and then click on the blue Facebook Share and Claim button.  The credit will land in your account immediately, and you can always delete the resulting Facebook post from your page after you receive the credit.

There have been a plethora of free digital credit offers on Amazon lately, and it's not too clear how to check what your balance is on these credits, as the balances are not located on the same page as your regular gift card balance is.  Here's how to check those balances very easily.

1. First, make sure you're logged into your Amazon account.
2. Way over on the left side of the page, go to "Shop by Department" then "Mp3 & Cloud Player" then "Mp3 Music Store."
3. On the Mp3 Music Store page, look over on your extreme left side again, and find the link that says "Redeem a gift card" and click on it.
4. On the resulting "Gift Card Center for Amazon MP3" page, click on the gold "Enter a code" button. You'll be rewarded with a popup that looks like this:

Please note that your new $3 credit will NOT be reflected in these balances, because it's $3 off of $5.99, so it's not an incremental credit.

Father's Day gifts: BOGOHO & free shipping on men's clothing and accessories at Target.com

Target.com is having a Buy-One-Get-One-Half-Off (BOGOHO) sale with free shipping (no minimum) on men's clothing and accessories.  We know from doing our shopper's math that BOGOHO is the equivalent of 25% off, when both items are the same price.  (When both items are different prices, that discount starts to drop.)

If you have a Target RedCard, you can stack another 5% on top of the BOGOHO discount.  The 5% discount is after the BOGOHO discount, not on the original price. If you buy pairs of items at the same price, this total discount works out to a whopping 29% off!  This discount applies to pretty much anything in the men's clothing and accessories departments, including clearance, except for shoes.

Even if you aren't shopping for a Father's Day gift, this is a great opportunity to stock up on underwear, socks, jeans, tshirts, sweats, khakis, etc., as well as summertime gear, like swimming trunks and shorts.

Spinning tie organizer, $2.15 with free Prime or Supersaver shipping

I just bought three of these.  One to organize my huge mess of fall headbands, one to organize my costume jewelry necklaces and one to (surprise!) organize my husband's surplus ties and belts.   This spinning tie organizer is $2.15 with free Prime shipping, so I splurged.

This handy-dandy 20-tie organizer got 4 out of 5 stars over 231 customer reviews.  From one review:

This is really an ingenious little tie hanger. Very well designed and functional. Don't be deceived by the cheap price. If you have less than 20 ties, simply spread them out on the tie hangers so that the spindle is in balance and spins freely. The ties are stored neatly and compactly. Installation consists of snapping two pieces of plastic together. Nothing could be easier. I'm amazed how well it works. For this price I didn't expect much, but I couldn't be more satisfied.

Are you giving the Dad(s) in your life ties for Father's Day?  Wouldn't it be nice if you included this little organizer along with them?

Get this tie organizer at $2.15 before Amazon moves a decimal place over in the price.
