Coca-Cola Rewards: FREE $2 Amazon gift card, FREE AMC Movie Ticket, FREE $6 FandangoNOW movie rental

I do miss the now-defunct MyCokeRewards program and all the freebies that we used to get from them.  The current Coca-Cola Rewards program is an anemic replacement for MCR, but this month, they've got a few worthwhile rewards going on.

To enter codes for these rewards, click here and log in with your old MyCokeRewards account (or create a new one).  Each of these rewards is limited to one per account, but you can have up to five Coca-Cola Rewards accounts residing at one address, so open accounts for your spouse and kids.

Free $2 Amazon gift card:  look for the words "Enjoy $2 off a Coca-Cola 12-pack on Amazon.com."  Enter 3 codes from Coca-Cola brand 12-packs (must be 12-packs) and you'll immediately receive a $2 Amazon gift card code.  Enter the promo code here on Amazon, in order to redeem on your Amazon account.

Free AMC drink, popcorn and movie ticket:  look for the words "Make Your Trip to the Movies Epic with a Coke."  Enter any 5 codes for a free large drink at AMC theaters, enter another 7 codes for a free large popcorn and enter 10 more codes for a free AMC movie ticket (22 codes total for the free AMC movie ticket). The free popcorn is kind of useless to us, because we keep kosher, but we'll just give that one away. The free soda and movie tickets will be part of our first post-sefirah date night. They basically send links to your email address that will pull up a bar code that the theater cashier can scan (pull it up on your cellphone when you get to the theater).

Free FandangoNOW movie rental (up to $6.00):  look for the words "Stream Fun Tonight with an Ice-Cold Coke."  Enter any five codes for a free rental.  The free rental promo code expires on 10/11/18.  Go to Fandango to redeem.

Coca-Cola Rewards: Get a FREE $5.00 Amazon Gift Card and get a free Coke Zero Sugar

I've been very tempted to toss all those caps from the now defunct MyCokeRewards programs, but in the end, I held on to them and now I'm so glad I did! Here are two great offers from the current incarnation of Coca-Cola Rewards.

Log into Coca-Cola Rewards (you can either create a free new account or use your MyCokeReward login).  Scroll down to where it says "Enjoy and Amazon.com Gift Card from Coke" and enter 10 codes from either Coca-Cola (including Diet Coke), Coke Life, or Coke Zero Sugar.  After you enter the 10 codes, you will receive a $5.00 Amazon e-gift card code emailed to the address associated with your log-in. They use cashstar as a platform for delivering the e-gift card.  You can do this twice per account (so in other words, you can collect up to two $5.00 gift cards per account.) Ends 12/21/17. Must claim your gift card by 12/31/17.

The second offer requires a mobile phone text:  from now until 9:00 a.m. ET on 10/24/17, text SHUTOUT to 2653 (COKE) for a mobile coupon for a FREE 20 oz. Coke Zero Sugar, redeemable exclusively at 7-Eleven.  Offer expires 11/2/17.

My Coke Rewards Loyalty Program closing down

My Coke Rewards recently announced that they were closing their loyalty program, presumably to replace it with a whole different rewards program. You may enter MCR codes through 3/22/17, and you will be able redeem your rewards through 6/30/17. There is still a 75-point limit per week per account on entering codes, so over the next 9 weeks, you can enter up to 675 points per account (225 caps).  The new and improved rewards program will open on 7/1/17. Any unredeemed points after 6/30/17 will be forfeited and donated to charity.

If you've got any outstanding codes or points, I advise you to enter and redeem them asap.  They are already out of one of my favorite rewards (the free 20 oz. soda) and they are sure to be running down the clock on other favorites. Tonight I redeemed 18 free 12-packs and two $10 Amazon gift cards. I'm sure these two popular rewards will be among the first of the rewards to run out.  I have about 200 codes left to enter, so I'm hoping that between my husband's account and mine, I'll be able to get them all in before the program closes. Coke says to hold on to un-entered codes for the next version of the rewards program, but I trust little in the unknown.

I've been a MyCokeRewards member since they launched the program in 2006, and I've scored probably hundreds of free 12-packs and 20 oz. bottles, t-shirts, ball caps, a free electronic Battleship game, $100s in free gift cards, free magazines, and more.  Over the last few years, the program has yielded fewer rewards and raised their point requirements to redeem them. I'm still disappointed that the program is closing; at the very least, I will miss all the free soda. and there's nothing like free.  I'm looking forward to seeing what the replacement program will be like.

MyCokeRewards members: exclusive rewards have reset, including free 12-pack and free $10 Amazon gift card
