My Pier1 haul

Were you able to print the Pier1 $10 off of $10 coupon on Monday?  Pier1 has always been such a prohibitively overpriced (but fun) store, that I rarely ever shopped there, even though they had beautiful and unique merchandise. Now that they are doing this Daily Dealy (not sure for how long though), I'll be checking it out more often.  Nothing will get me into a store more quickly than a good coupon!

Look at what I bought yesterday with my $10/$10 coupon:  3 blue swirl dessert glasses (originally $4, on the clearance rack for $2.98) and a teal tinted cordial glass (originally $4, on sale for $1.25; we collect interesting cordial glasses).  I usually buy my tableware in some shade of blue, because our wedding china is a blue pattern. These four pretty pieces cost me a grand total of $0.99 (mostly tax) with my coupon.

If you still have your Pier1 $10 off of $10 coupon, today is the last day to redeem it. Find a Pier1 store near you here.

I'm going back today with my husband's coupon to get some more goodies.

I got a beautiful set of four African rattan placemats for only $4 after the coupon. Thanks to you for telling me about it. My husband loves your site too.

  3. I went to Pier 1 to spend my coupon and it took real self-control not to buy all the beautiful things in that store. I bought 8 water glasses (http://www.pier1.com/Catalog/Dining/tabid/977/CategoryId/888/ProductId/207/ProductName/Classic-Stemware/Default.aspx) for a total of $6.47! We were down to 5 (of the original 12 we got as wedding gifts), so now we can entertain without it being embarrassing.

  4. Amara, I know! I wanted to buy everything in the the store! They have such beautiful, off-the-beaten-track housewares there. I almost bought the stemware too, but I had a hankering for something a little more unusual. I went back yesterday with my husband's voucher and picked up five more of the little cordial glasses so that we could have a set. Glad you got the water glasses...what a total steal.
