Question: What is the number one resource that you can use to find out about great deals and coupons?
I'm on a new push to empower Cheapskate readers to become more independently informed about money-saving offers. Most of the deals and coupons that I post on this blog come to me through my trusty inbox in the form of subscriptions and newsletters from vendors. If you want to be able to take advantage of these deals before the rest of the frugal world is privy to them, subscribe to at least these three great vendors, just for starters:
- Home Depot: sign up here to find out about home sales and coupons before the rest of the free world does. And don't forget to sign up on the Home Depot Garden Club, which has fantastic monthly coupons on outdoor items, many of which are BOGO or free.
- Staples: sign up here to get those wonderful office and school supply coupons ahead of the crowd, especially now, during all the summertime school supply sales.
- Target mobile: if you have a smartphone and shop at Target, sign up here to get mobile alerts and coupons that you won't see posted anywhere else. I've found mobile coupons for Target while standing in line at the checkout. They don't text more than once a day and if you find it to be too much, you can easily turn it off.
