Mead Money Madness: join and cash in your sign-up points right away for a reward

Mead Money Madness is a points program on the Mead website that rewards you for all your eligible Mead purchases.

Two Ways to Earn Points:
  1. Look for the Mead Money Madness tag on the Mead products you buy to find out how many Mead Money Madness points you can earn. Enter the UPC codes online and add the points to your account. Save your receipts – you’ll need them to claim your rewards.

  2. You’ll also score points for doing certain things on the Mead website, i.e. playing a game, taking a poll, creating a quiz, viewing a demo or downloading a template.
Once you've racked up at least a thousand points, you can cash them in for some nice rewards.  The good news is that you get a thousand points just for signing up, so you get a free reward immediately. Choose from:
  • Five Star Advance Wirebound 1-Subject Notebook
  • OrganizHer Write ’N Wipe Message Center
  • Five Star Customizable Poly Binder
  • Five Star Advance Index Card Keeper
  • Five Star Stand N’ Store Pencil Pouch
  • Mead Fashion Notebook
  • Academie Wirebound Sketch Diary (what I chose.  As a web designer, I'm constantly sketching out designs for clients.)
After you sign up for the program,  proceed to the Rewards page.  You then select your reward and check out.  Print out the page with the rewards information on it.  Normally you would  have to mail in your receipts showing that you actually purchased the products whose UPC codes you entered for points, but since these are sign-up points, you just mail in the form. More free office supplies!

It looks like the program is going away in March 2012, so I wouldn't wait too long to redeem points for rewards.
