Great way to get rid of your old CD's: Amazon's Trade-In Program

Amazon has got a new Trade-In program for CDs.  This is a great way to get rid of your old, dust-collecting CDs and get an Amazon gift card to replace them.  Here's how you do it.
  1. Click here and search for CDs to trade in. Your trade-in items must meet the product eligibility criteria.
  2. Print a shipping label and packing slip, package up your CDs and ship them off to Amazon for free.
  3. An Amazon Gift Card credit will be deposited into your account upon receipt of your items.
I did a few random searches on some CDs that I wouldn't mind parting with, and the trade-in values are pretty low. But given that 1) I don't have to shlep over to a used CD store or 2) deal with selling these on eBay or the like or 3) pay for shipping, I'm thinking this is a pretty good service.  And I do love getting rid of stuff that I no longer need.  I was actually thinking of just giving these CDs to Goodwill or Freecycle; now I can at least get an Amazon credit for them.
