The end of the month is (gulp) tomorrow! Where did June go? The end of the month means we can look forward to some new coupons popping up in the changing of the (coupon) guard on 7/1/12. It also means that many of your favorite coupons, you know, the ones you've been meaning to print but haven't gotten round to, are going to disappear. If you've got any coupons on Coupons.com, SmartSource, Red Plum, Whole Foods, Target, Betty Crocker, or Cellfire, that you've been eyeing, now is a good time to put paper in the printer.
Without question, the absolute best deal of June was the American Express $25 bonus gift card. It was so simple to do and the easiest money I've made this month. Unlike some other deals that are floating around, American Express is a very secure, established company, and you don't need to worry about getting scammed or cheated. I wish I could post no-brainer deals like this all the time! If you haven't done it yet, their excellent offer expires after 6/30/12, so hurry up.
Summer is here in full force! Our Fourth of July Big Barbecue is next week (help!). Vacations are rolling and budgets are getting squeezed. We're spending money on keeping cool, entertaining, traveling and recreation. How I love summertime! Of course, I'm always looking ahead and already scouting around for ways to save money on Rosh Hashana and Sukkot, (and I'm sure some of you frugal parents are already hunting down school supply deals) but let's not wish our summer away; it'll go by too quickly anyway...
