Walmart Seven-Item Household Stockup Value Bundle for $35, a great buy even if you compare it to shopping with coupons

You know about "bundling," right?  You've seen those (obnoxious) commercials?  Bundling your car insurance with your home owner's insurance, your software with your computer purchase, your cable service with your long-distance and wifi, etc.  Bundling basically means buying a bunch of things together at a significant discount.

Walmart has got an awesome bundling deal on cleaning products.  I've run the numbers, and this is an excellent find.  Get a Household Stockup Value Bundle for $35 with free shipping from Walmart.  You get your choice of:
  1. 1 100 oz. Tide laundry detergent
  2. 1 dish cleaner
  3. 1 laundry additive
  4. 1 surface cleaner
  5. 1 air freshener
  6. 1 household essential (tissues, paper towels or Swiffer kit)
  7. 1 bathroom tissue
Now, if you've been reading Daily Cheapskate for a while, you know that I am all about doing the math.  So let's do it.  Here's what I chose, along with each item's corresponding Walmart prices (if purchased separately):
  1. Tide 2X Ultra Liquid Laundry Detergent with Febreze, 100 oz.,  $11.97
  2. Cascade ActionPacs with Extra Bleach Action Dishwashing Detergent, 20-count, $3.97
  3. Downy Laundry Fabric Softener Sheets, Clean Breeze, 120 sheets, $5.48
  4. Mr. Clean Mildew Stain Remover Spray, 32 oz. $3.47
  5. Febreze Air Effects Air Refresher, Lavender Vanilla spray $2.97
  6. Bounty Select-A-Size Super Rolls Paper Towels, 6-rolls, $9.97
  7. Charmin Ultra Soft Toilet Paper Double Rolls, 12 rolls,  $6.97
Total:   $44.80

Then, I did a little personal adjustment.  Since none of these are items that I would ever buy without a coupon, I subtracted $7 from the total, figuring on an average of a $1 coupon for each of the seven items. That brought me down to $37.80.  Which is still more than the $35 price for the bundle.

Throw in the convenience of free shipping, and I'm sold.  Think of the cost of the gas, the time involved with the coupon clipping and planning, and of course, the shlepping.

Get your Walmart Household Stockup Value Bundle for $35 with free shipping here.  It's a great bargain and convenience, even if you were shopping for these items individually with coupons.
