UPDATE: SOLD OUT.
Many thanks to my uber-creative artist sister-in-law for giving me this idea several years ago. I visited with her family for Sukkot several years ago and she had this very pretty tea light chandelier hanging in her Sukkah. Tea light chandeliers are great for Sukkot because you are allowed to transfer flame on Yom Tov, tea lights are generally safe
, and they cast a lovely, soft light on the evening meals, as opposed to what we used to use, which was an industrial outdoor worklight. (We use tea lights in conjunction with string lights, because the tea lights alone usually aren't bright enough to light up our whole Sukkah.)
Kmart is having a huge clearance sale on outdoor furniture and fixtures
. I found this wonderful "Jaclyn Smith Today" 15 inch Votive Chandelier for an unbelievable $2.99
with free store pickup. I just bought three of them: two for the Sukkah and one for the back porch. I love the wrought-iron look of this, and it will be a beautiful addition to our Sukkah this year. This votive chandelier is on the small side (15 in. x 15 in. x 13.25 in.), so you also may want to pick up more than one.
Even if you don't celebrate Sukkot, this votive chandelier will look beautiful on a porch or patio. Get this great "Jaclyn Smith Today" 15 inch Votive Chandelier for just $2.99
