Thanks to friend and Daily Cheapskate reader Rebecca M., who alerted me to the lastest Enjoy Life deal on Amazon.

Not familiar with Enjoy Life chocolate chips?
Ever since Trader Joe's stopped making their kosher pareve chocolate chips (they are now dairy), there has been a dearth of high-quality, kosher, affordable, non-dairy chocolate chips on the market. There are a number of "heimishe" brands of pareve chocolate chips available, and they do the job, and are affordable, but they generally don't taste great and don't contain the best ingredients.
Whenever I'm in Whole Foods, I always walk past the shelf with the Enjoy Life chocolate chips with a little bit of envy. I've had them at a friend's house and they are delicious, reliably kosher (CRC-pareve), allergy, diet and green friendly (dairy-, nut- and soy-free, gluten-free, non-GMO, sodium-free, cholesterol-free). But at our local Whole Foods, they are priced at about $5.00 per bag (oftentimes more) and that is just not in my budget.
