NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE IS ON!! Use your $10 credit to snag free, near-free, or discounted items, all with free shipping.

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is on!   

If you participated in the Nordstrom Rewards sign-up promotion, you should have already received your free $10.00 Nordstrom credit.  Search your email for the subject line: "Nordstrom Rewards member, here's your $10 promotional certificate," which should contain a link to the $10 credit that you can use for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  

Treat the credit like a gift card, rather than a coupon.  There is no minimum purchase to use it.  To redeem it, you enter the certificate number and access code in the gift card field at Nordstrom checkout.

Please note: even if you were already a Nordstrom Rewards member before they ran the promotion (as I was), you should still have received the $10 credit. I think they simply sent it to all the members of the Nordstrom Rewards program, both new and current.  

Because Nordstrom routinely offers completely FREE shipping with no minimum (and free returns), you should be able to snag yourself some free, near-free, or discounted items with your $10.00 credit (you might still have to pay sales tax even if you buy a $10.00 item).  Or you can opt to purchase something you really want and just deduct $10.00 from the price.

Do keep in mind that the best finds at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale tend to sell out VERY quickly. It's just the nature of the sale.  So if you do find something that you love, don't wait on it or you might lose the chance to buy it with your credit.
