Just a word about portable chargers:  if you've ever walked off a plane with a dead phone (been there, done that about a thousand times) or gotten stuck anywhere with your phone showing 1% and no way to charge it, you will appreciate the incredible convenience of having a portable charger.  You're not dependent on finding an outlet or praying that your car charger will actually work, etc.  I'm actually at a point where I carry two chargers on me when I travel.  Portable chargers are about as indispensable as portable phones right now.
