Amazon has got First Aid Basics: How to Identify and Treat Life-Threatening Emergencies available for a free download for a limited time. I just downloaded it and skimmed through it. It is one of those e-books that was never really meant to be an actual book, but just a quick summary of the topic at hand. It give some a few short paragraphs on some very relevant medical emergencies: anaphylaxis, asthma attacks, bites & stings, bleeding, broken bones, sprains & strains, burns, choking, concussion, dehydration, eye injuries, fever, nosebleeds, and seizures.
Since Amazon's #1 seller is the Kindle, they call e-books "Kindle books," but if you don't own a Kindle, it's not a problem at all to read this with ease. Try installing the Universal Kindle Reading App first, before any of the ones below. It should work on most devices.
If it doesn't do the trick, here are some supereasy instructions for reading Kindle eBooks on pretty much any device, including smartphones, computers and tablets. I read Kindle books on my laptop and iPad all the time.
