Get a $5.00 Amazon credit when you subscribe to select magazines

For a limited time, Amazon will give you a $5.00 account credit when you purchase select magazine subscriptions here. I've listed all of them below and highlighted the best deals in yellow.

These magazine subscriptions are all "All Access" which means that they include both a print and a digital subscription. In most cases. the digital part of the subscription is accessible on all iPad, iPhone, Android Tablet, Android Phone, NOOK Tablet, and Kindle Fire devices. Make sure you download the free Kindle App and you'll be good to go. Or, if you're Old School, you can just ignore the digital subscription and just read the print magazine.

This $5.00 Amazon credit promotion is available for both new and renewal subscriptions, per Amazon: "You can renew any subscription, even if it wasn't originally purchased from Amazon. Just make sure the name and address you enter match exactly the name and address on the mailing label for your magazine subscription. This will let the publisher know that this is a renewal order. When you're placing your order, you'll see an estimated date when you'll receive your first issue. Don't worry--as long as you use the same name and address, the publisher will add the issues to your current subscription."

This can also be sent as a gift subscription as well, and Amazon will let you send a little note with the gift.

Rules regarding $5.00 Amazon store credit: This is a limited time offer. Store credit will be automatically applied to your Amazon account within 7 days from the date of your qualifying purchase. You will receive an email at the email address associated with your account letting you know when the store credit has been successfully applied. Store credit will expire 60 days from the date that it is applied to your Amazon account. Turning off auto-renewal: All of these subscription are set to auto-renew, but you can easily shut that down in a click. Here's what you do to shut down that auto-renewal: right after you subscribe, under your Amazon account, click on the Manage Magazine Subscriptions link, find the name of the magazine you just subscribed to and de-select the auto-renewal option. Voila, no more auto-renewal! Pretty easy to do, and it allows you to take advantage of a great promotion.
