We are huge Dyson fans. We own two very loveable and sheddy dogs, and getting a Dyson a few years ago literally changed the standard of cleanliness in the house. Our Dyson eats up dog hair (and pretty much any other dirt you can think of) like nobody's business, and it's modular, so if anything gets clogged, you just "unclick" that part of the vacuum, clean out the clog, and "click" the part back in. We had been going through a vacuum cleaner each year up until we bought our Dyson, and since we bought it, it's been our only vacuum.
