Here's a roundup of seven over-the-knee skirts that are on sale at Nordstrom, all with free shipping and free returns.  The fact that Nordstrom will pay for the return shipping means your purchase is practically risk-free, so if it's not what you thought it would be when it arrives, or it doesn't fit, just send it back (or bring it into any Nordstrom store). 

Now "over-the-knee" is a very relative term, which is why it's important to look at the actual lengths.  I'm assuming that if a skirt hits a 5' 11" model just at the knee, it will me over my knee on my 5'7" frame, but caveat emptor; it's always good to try things on and see where a hemline actually falls.

Sale skirts on Nordstrom tend to sell out rather quickly, so if you like one, don't sit on the purchase too long or you'll miss out.

Yonanas Frozen Treat Maker now $37.82 on Amazon

Amazon has got the Yonanas Frozen Treat Maker (model #902) for $37.82 with free shipping.   It received 4.2 out of 5 stars over 1,081 customer ratings.

We got one of these a few months ago and I was extremely skeptical.  But I don't quite know how they did it:  their 100% banana "ice cream" actually had the texture of real ice cream.  I did cheat and throw some chocolate chips in afterwards, but it didn't even need it.  We also made mango sorbet with nothing (no sugar, no water, nada) but pure frozen mangos, and I didn't want to believe it was that easy, but it actually tasted like real mango sorbet!  I'm definitely picking up another one of these for Pesach.   For the price of a bag of frozen fruit, I can make an expensive and delicious frozen dessert.  Yes, please.  That will save me a small fortune on pricey kosher la'Pesach frozen desserts.

The cleanup was also a breeze...you basically just wash 4 parts and you're done.  It's dishwasher safe, but I didn't even bother because it cleaned up so quickly.  I was surprised because usually appliances like juicers or food processors, etc. are a pain to clean.

Very impressive little machine.  Costs $49.99 (regular price) most other places.

Now I confess,  I bought this set for us the last time the price dropped on this, and we absolutely love it.  It's a heavy, substantial-feeling set of 18/10 flatware, and the design is very understated and elegant; it looks great on our Shabbos table.   It goes right in the dishwasher after we use it, and cleans up beautifully.  The only negative is that the knives needs to be dried right after washing, or they get water spots and need to be re-rinsed, but other than that, I love this set, and snagging it for less than $100 is a coup.   This set goes for $149.95 on the Lenox site.  Wayfair has it for $127.49.  Hayneedle has it for $149.95.
