I just got back from a shopping run at King Soopers, which is Colorado's Kroger affiliate, and I was so surprised at how many fantastic buys were available this week, I put them together in a post. Many of the deals I'm about to list will be available at other Kroger affiliates, so if you live near one, check your circulars.
There are a number of items that are Buy-Four-Get-$4 back, which is the equivalent of $1 off per item. You can mix and match and combination of these in groups of four. I've only cherry-picked the ones that are great buys with a coupon. If you're using the King Soopers digital coupons loaded on your loyalty card, keep in mind that the limit for these coupons is just one, so if you are buying multiple amounts of the same items, you'll need paper coupons as well. Here are my favorite items of the Buy-Four-Get-$4 Sale:
- Tide 50 oz. liquid, $5.99, with sale, $4.99. Use the $2 coupon found in the 1/1/12 P&G insert, or the Facebook coupon, or the King Sooper $2/1 digital coupon, final price $2.99.
- Old Spice or Secret deodorant, $1.99, with sale, $0.99. Use the $1/2 coupon in the 1/1/12 P&G insert, final price $0.50 when you buy 2.
- Aussie or Herbal Essence shampoo or conditioner, $2.79, with sale, $1.79. Use the $1/1 Herbal Essence or Aussie coupon in the 1/1/12 P&G insert, final price $0.79.
- Charmin 12-roll or Charmin Basic 16-roll, $6.99, with sale, $5.99. Use King Soopers $1/1 digital coupon, final price $4.99.
- Bounty 6 "Big" or 8 regular rolls, $6.99, with sale, $5.99. Use King Soopers $1/1 digital coupon, final price $4.99.
- Bounce 105-ct.sheets or Downy fabric softener 60 loads, $5.49, with sale, $4.49. Use King Soopers $1/1 digital coupon, final price $3.49.
- Febreeze Air Effects, $2.49, with sale, $1.49. Use King Soopers $1/1 digital coupon, final price $0.49.
- Odwalla smoothies, $2.99, BOGO free, so $1.50 each. Use the $1/1Facebook coupon (no longer available), or two of the $.055 coupon in the 11/13/11 SmartSource insert, which will double up to $1. Final cost $0.50 each when you buy two.
- Softsoap 7.5 oz. $0.88.
- Speed Stick or Lady Speed Stick $0.88.
- Free milk when you buy any four Special K cereals or crackers, Nutri-Grain cereal bars, Kellogg’s Fiber Plus bars or Special K bars. Your choice of free gallon milk or free half-gallon organic milk.
- Cauliflower $1/head
- Avocado $1 ea.
- Kiwis $2 BOGO, so $1 ea. when you buy 2
- Gala apples $1/lb.
- Anjou pears $1/lb.
UPDATE: make sure you add the free $4 coupon to your loyalty card before you go out on your shopping trip, for even more savings.
