I know I usually base my Kroger affiliate posts around the Denver Kroger affiliate, King Soopers, but since Joshua and I are in Omaha this week, and I had such a great time teaching the Omaha couponing class yesterday, this week's Kroger affiliate post will be done using the Baker's circular. (Baker's is the Omaha Kroger affiliate). Yay Omaha! If you live near any Kroger affiliate store, you should be able to score very similar savings.
Most Kroger affiliate stores are having a Game Day Greats sale, where you buy from a select group of items in increments of ten, and you save $5 ( or $0.50 per item). Here's my Baker's shopping list for the Game Day Greats sale.
- Birds Eye SteamFresh, $1.99, after sale $1.49, buy 3, use $1/3 coupon here. Total cost $3.47 for 3 bags or $1.16 each.
- Trop50 $2.99, after sale $2.49, buy 2, use two of the $1/1 Facebook coupons here, plus get the $1/2 SavingStar coupon here. Total cost $1.98 or $0.99 for each 59 oz. bottle.
- Hunts tomatoes or paste $0.99, after sale $0.49, buy 3 and use this $0.60/3 coupon here. Total cost, $0.87, or $0.29 per can.
- Bumble Bee tuna $1.28, after sale $0.78 for a 2.5 oz. pouch or 3.5 oz. can. This is a GREAT buy even without coupons. I'm getting two to round out the ten items. Total cost: $1.56
So this shopping trip will cost $7.88 ($8.88 out-of-pocket plus the $1 "banked" SavingStar coupon), and I'll be getting:
- 3 bags of Birds Eye Steamfresh
- 2 59 oz. bottles of Trop50
- 3 cans of Hunts diced tomatoes
- 2 cans or pouches of Bumble Bee tuna
