True story. About twelve years ago, I went out with my then-fiancé (now husband) to my favorite restaurant in Brooklyn. Not one of my favorites, but my all-time favorite. (My girlfriends out in New York are reading this and vigorously nodding their heads along in agreement.) We sat down, and the waitress came over to our table, looked at me, looked at Joshua, and recited in one breath "salad-nicoise-with-cajun-grilled-tuna-hold-the-anchovies-hold-the-potatoes-extra-balsamic-vinaigrette-on-the-side-and-a-diet-coke. And what will you be having sir?"
I love Back to Nature and whenever I visit my family back in New York, I eat at this restaurant at least every third or fourth day, no kidding. It's got amazingly fresh, crispy salads, deliciously prepared fish and pasta dishes and desserts that are insanely good (oh personal pecan tartlet, how do I love you).
